The Chamblee High School Aviation Club is dedicated to providing Chamblee students interested in aviation the opportunity to immerse themselves in aviation as well as learn more about the path to becoming a pilot. The aviation club acts as a gateway for students to be introduced to life in an aviation-related career as well as meet aviation professionals. The club will host events that utilize the partnerships already established with groups at Peachtree Dekalb Airport. The club allows Chamblee students interested in aviation the opportunity to see planes up close as well as introduces the opportunity for students to start the path to receiving their private pilot's license.
In-school meetings are monthly meetings in Mr. Avett's room. The majority of meetings will primarily be on the weekends at Peachtree Dekalb Airport.
